The Broadway Bridge currently spans the Minnesota River on trunk highway 99 near downtown St. Peter, MN. Constructed in 1931, the bridge is in need of rehabilitation. Olson & Nesvold's role in this project is to identify ways to improve the bridge's strength and load path redundancy, while maintaining the historic character of the bridge. Multiple alternatives will be considered to satisfy project goals. The Broadway Bridge is one of 24 historic bridges identified by Mn/DOT for preservation.
